Well the finesse Hockey ain't working too well for them at the moment. Winning ugly is one thing, but when it ain't working something needs to change. I honestly can't see the Wild getting 3 goals per game any time soon with their current play. We'll see if they can change a few things.

The high profile players on the team need to find chemistry fast. Kind of like my Flames. There loss to the blues last night was painful to watch. I wish our GM would just swallow his pride and blow up the team and start from scratch Seriously, and with Iginla performing the way he is, his trade value is dropping quicker then Kevin Nash receiving the fingerpoke of doom.

I see the flames have sent Irving down. He looked good whilst up though.

What's your thoughts on the Cooke/Kahlsson injury. Was it really a freak accident or did Cooke, considering his past, have intent on his mind?

Total accident(unless your a sens fan lol).

I played hockey for a great many years and trust me when I say this kind of injury is very hard to do with intent. Injuries like this happen so little that it would be foolish to think it was done on purpose. If it was that easy to injure someone, wouldnt you think it would happen more? Unfortunately for Cooke, he's become a target for negativity because of his past. No matter how clean this guy plays now, one stupid move or freak injury and he's automatically the main guy to shit all over.

I agree with you. Whenever something like this happens people give their knee jerk opinions and make the matter a whole lot worse than it should be. Had it be another player other than Cooke then the reaction might have been different. I'm sure he will be fine though lol

When I seen there was a post in this thread I knew it would be about that Crying or Very sad

Both times the teams have played this season have resulted in boring games. Glad Coyle got his first goal but McDonald was good for the Flames. Hope Tuesday will be different.

Different as in a Wild win, or different as in a non-boring game? lol. At this point, I'll take anything the Flames can get point wise.

It was a crazy game with all the penalties for two teams who normally don't take them. I seriously thought the Wild were going to get shut out though. It was better than the previous game and I'm just glad Parise got the puck at the net Smile

Holy fack my team sucks. And the whole ordeal with O'reilly...had Colorado let O'reilly sign with the flames the flames would have committed suicide...they would give two first round picks to colorado for compensation, plus because he played in Russia this season, would have to clear waivers which means another team would get him and not Calgary. Jay Feaster needs to go...like yesterday. :/

I read that story and didn't think you would have been happy lol

It sounds like the Flames were unsure over O'Reilly's time in Russia and whether he was there or not. Not good.
